Patrick Hines is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio. He is a graduate of Ohio University with a degree in business and worked eleven years as a computer programmer and analyst for several major Ohio companies prior to pursuing his call to ministry. While attending Ohio University, he met and later married his wife of 21 years, Amy. Patrick earned his Master of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary in 2008. He served for four years as Assistant Pastor at Grace Bible Presbyterian Church in Cincinnati where he had served six years as a ruling elder prior to ordination. Patrick and his family moved to Kingsport in June of 2012 to answer a call to the pulpit at Bridwell Heights Presbyterian Church PCA. The sermons are accessible at the church’s website:
Patrick’s ministry is characterized by his deep love and passion for Christ, the church, and the lost: by his faithfulness to the clear articulation of the gospel and ardent defense of biblical Christianity and the reformed faith: and by his commitments to children’s ministry, pro-life ministries, engagement of the culture and the individual unbeliever, and Reformation theology.
Patrick has a heart for children who are unchurched and have never heard the gospel and has organized and led local Good News Club ministries through Child Evangelism Fellowship since 2010. He is a pro-life advocate, activist, and spokesperson, defending the unborn and the sanctity of life in public protest, televised interviews, and published articles. His reputation as a spokesperson for the Reformation and its great doctrines grows, and he has been featured in radio broadcasts and conferences.
